Co-ops must be located in the tri-state area of PA, DE, or NJ for the duration of the Co-op experience.


Position Description:

  • Participate with team members in the delivery of IT Collaborative Services to NBME.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for Collaborative Services team, such as documentation and managing service ticket queues.
  • Perform daily operational tasks for collaborative technologies such as SharePoint (Intranet), MS Teams, Uniflow (Canon enterprise follow me printing), Citrix (shared desktops), EMS Meeting Services (room scheduling) and Polycom phones.
  • Work with NBME staff in resolving issues and fulfilling requests.
  • Participate in defining and completing tasks in service improvement plans.
  • Participate in troubleshooting issues, testing, and implementing changes to collaborative technologies.
  • Provide research and assessment for new collaborative tools to benefit the NBME and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven skills in detail-oriented activity, team environment, knowledge of basic computing/IT network concepts, examining and developing process/workflows
  • Good communication skills and ability to work directly with all levels of staff
  • Knowledge of computer technologies, such as Microsoft Office, scripting, or web development a plus
  • Preferred Majors: Comp. - Computer Science, Comp. - Computing & Security Technology, Comp. - Data Science, Comp. - Software Engineering, Comp. - Informatics, Eng. - Computer Engineering, Comp. - Information Technology, Comp. - Information Systems
  • Level(s) of Experience Sought: Beginner - Limited or no previous work experience/first Co-op to Advanced
