We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead daily technology operations and support a reliable, secure infrastructure for the organization in Houston, Texas. This role oversees core systems, network performance, and end-user computing while driving consistent service delivery across the business. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to align IT operations with organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the administration and ongoing improvement of enterprise systems, including user access, directory services, and core infrastructure platforms.
• Oversee network operations and connectivity by managing Cisco-based environments and resolving performance or availability issues.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to protect business data and ensure system resilience.
• Manage the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle planning of computer hardware across the organization.
• Establish and enforce configuration standards to improve system consistency, security, and operational efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex technical incidents and coordinate timely resolution for infrastructure-related problems.
• Supervise IT support activities, prioritize operational needs, and guide team performance to meet service expectations.
• Evaluate existing technology environments and implement upgrades or process improvements that strengthen reliability and scalability.• Demonstrated experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support functions in a leadership capacity.
• Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory administration, including user management, permissions, and system policies.
• Strong understanding of backup technologies and disaster recovery practices within a business environment.
• Experience supporting Cisco technologies, including network hardware, connectivity, and related infrastructure components.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement planning.
• Familiarity with configuration management principles and the ability to apply standardized controls across systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose technical issues, manage priorities effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
