Job Summary:
One Way Solutions is a dynamic IT company focused on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to clients. They are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician responsible for building, installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware and servers, with a strong emphasis on customer service and technical support.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install computers, servers, and peripherals.
• Connect and configure network devices, including firewalls, switches, and ISP modems.
• Perform hardware repairs and upgrades on computers and servers.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and provide technical assistance.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and network peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners with LAN static IPs).
• Understand and work within Domain Controller environments (domain vs. workgroup).
• Perform on-site installations, wiring, and cable management.
• Conduct network discovery and documentation for infrastructure planning.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate scheduling with the IT and AV dispatcher.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
