Job description

This is a multi-hire position for a variety of highly embedded and sensor driven programs. These programs are notable programs such as JASSM, LRASM, EOTS and many more classified programs that are in need of engineers with experience writing drivers, working in hardware abstraction layer architectures and are familiar with microservice style architectures. We want you, if you enjoy writing command and control code for sensors and doing hardware software integration in classified labs.
This position is responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, and hardware/software integration and verification. The individual will develop embedded software in C++ and embedded operating system in an Agile environment using JIRA, Git and Confluence. The individual will need to apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the development lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Staff Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Develop Embedded Software
-Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
