What does a computer hardware repair technician do?

A Computer Hardware Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, memory modules, and peripheral devices. They troubleshoot hardware issues, replace faulty parts, and ensure that computers and related equipment function properly. Technicians may work in repair shops, corporate IT departments, or provide on-site support for clients. In addition to repairs, they often perform upgrades and preventive maintenance to extend the life of computer systems.
