JOB SUMMARY
The IT Intern will support the IT department by assisting with technical support, system maintenance, and day-to-day technology needs across the organization. This role offers hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting system updates, and contributing to ongoing IT projects. The intern is expected to work 15 to 20 hours per week within regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common workplace applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and technical systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support system updates, software installations, and security patching.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, system inventories, and user accounts.
  • Monitor and respond to IT help desk requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with basic network maintenance and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Support data backup processes and ensure proper data storage practices.
  • Participate in IT-related projects such as system upgrades, software rollouts, and technology improvements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the IT department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
