Position Summary...PKI/HSM is responsible for engineering, automating, and supporting Walmart's enterprise cryptographic infrastructure, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). This role designs secure, scalable cryptographic services, enables certificate automation and workload identity, manages enterprise key infrastructure, and partners with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to protect critical business systems while driving modernization and operational excellence.

The team is dedicated to designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cryptographic infrastructure that supports enterprise business objectives. It leads modernization efforts for Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and certificate lifecycle management across on-premises and cloud environments. Collaborating closely with security, infrastructure, networking, and application teams, the group emphasizes automation, operational efficiency, and compliance with security standards.   • Partner with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to integrate enterprise cryptographic services.
  • Drive modernization, certificate automation, workload identity, and cryptographic agility initiatives.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PKI and HSM platforms to ensure availability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate on capacity planning to optimize resource utilization and forecast future infrastructure needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating as necessary to maintain system integrity.
