Job description

What You Will Do

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the F135 Systems team within Military Customer Support and Services. In this role, you will be working to ensure successful integration, implementation, and sustainment of data processes key to the execution of the F135 program. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on these data processes, tracking data flows and resolving transmission and accuracy issues.

Customer Support focal for implementation of advanced engine life system for the F135.

Manage implementation and drive execution of life data correction tasks by the customer in support of customer needs and migration to advanced engine life system.

Customer Support representative for life data integrity improvement and data escape reconciliation initiatives.

Status Management on progress of life data updates and system implementation.

Manage the propulsion system health and usage data flow process to Rolls-Royce, tracking data flow, addressing issues and implementing updates.

Support hardware removal data flow to PW Engineering team and vendors.

Reconcile incomplete hardware removal data in support of investigations and improvements.

Drive updates to the hardware removal data process to increase completeness and accuracy of data provided.

Manage data flow for the engine ice protection system to engineering for tracking of issues and system health of the fleet.

Drive corrections in the field to hardware specific control parameters to ensure software and hardware configuration alignment.

Support completion of contract deliverable reports supported by F135 customer support.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, computer science or propulsion engine field service operations.
  • 5+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Experience
  • F135 Sustainment experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of engine systems operation, software development processes and configuration management.
  • Project management experience.
