Job Summary:
NVIDIA is a leading company in computer graphics and accelerated computing, seeking a talented system software engineer for their GeForce Now Platform. The role involves designing and developing complex applications across various platforms, while ensuring reliability and scalability of features.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop and deliver complex real-time applications for desktop and mobile platforms.
โ€ข Partner closely with operations for the reliability and scalability of our features.
โ€ข Build features and SDKs in a variety of languages, C++, TypeScript, Python, and Swift
โ€ข React to user feedback and improve the product based on metrics collected from end-user and server systemsโ€Ž
โ€ข Collaborate and coordinate between multiple distributed teams for end-to-end feature delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Ability to write readable, testable, maintainable and extensible code, primarily in C++
โ€ข 12+ years in proficient development experience in large projects
โ€ข History of dedication to testing and continuous delivery.
โ€ข Good Windows API or POSIX APIs experience, experience in writing and debugging multithreaded code
โ€ข Good interpersonal skills and experience presenting with and handling the expectations of both technical and non-technical partners.
โ€ข Proven passion for user experience design and improving usability.
โ€ข Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments, application deployment, web security.
โ€ข BS or MS in Computer Science or related areas or equivalent experience
Preferred:
โ€ข Background with developing and supporting live consumer products/services on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS
โ€ข Experience in developing services and framework-like SDKs, like COM or Windows Runtime SDK
โ€ข Familiarity with telemetry and visualization tools, experience in employing data to analyze and improve product reliability and performance
โ€ข Passion for PC or mobile gaming
