You will be the CAD/CAM Senior Engineer- Level 3 for the Digital Transformation Team which is responsible for driving the digital transformation of our aerospace business.
What You Will Be Doing
As the CAD/CAM Senior Engineer- Level 3 you will be responsible for integrating advanced AI capabilities into our CAD/CAM workflows and supporting cross-functional aerospace design teams.
Your responsibilities will include: Design, prototype, and integrate generative AI tools (e.g., design assistants, topology optimization engines) into existing CAD/CAM workflows. Create and maintain prompt-engineering libraries and best-practice guides for AI-assisted modeling, simulation, and documentation. Evaluate AI model performance on accuracy and latency, and recommend improvements. Provide day-to-day technical assistance to aerospace design teams, ensuring AI-augmented solutions improve productivity and quality. Author and update methods, standards, processes, and training material that incorporate AI workflows. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with circuit designers and/or product line engineers in the design, development, and utilization of software to simulate the characteristics and parameters of integrated systems (IS) components, modules, or complete products under operating environment. Determines user needs; advises hardware designers on characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems including integrated graphic analysis.
Basic Qualifications
• B.S. (or higher) in an Engineering Discipline
• Experience with CAD (CATIA, NX, Creo) and PLM (Teamcenter, ENOVIA) platforms.
• Experience in program languages (C++, Python, JAVA, MATLAB)
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with modern generative AI models
Desired Skills
• Preferred Engineering Disciplines are Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Science
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or CAD Data Management tools
• Education or experience developing assistants on industry-leading open-source AI models such as llama or gpt.
• Strong understanding of Prompt Engineering principles
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience in software testing and overseeing unit testing for software deployment
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
