Summary The Graphic Design Specialist I is responsible for assisting in the design and layout of compelling, clear and concise documents and collateral, including but not limited to brochures, posters, signs, presentations, etc. for the County of Chester using various desktop publishing programs and/or photographic elements. Essential Duties Designs, creates layouts, and produces a variety of materials for digital and print platforms, including, but not limited to infographics, brochures, charts and diagrams, reports, web images, and social media visual content.

Stays up to date with the latest visual communications/graphic design trends. Works closely with county communications team to understand the needs and wants of products. Follows visual branding/standards as needed.

Coordinates printing services. Qualifications/Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required: Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Design, or a related field, or One year of job-related experience or training, or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Arts/Design or a related field, or One or more years of job-related experience or training, or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
