Digital Design Engineer - P2 - Cleared Onsite Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Digital Design Engineer - P2 - Cleared Onsite to join our Client's team. On-Site. The Effector Digital Products department is seeking an Electrical Engineer with digital electronics design and analysis skills to join our team. We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize todays cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs. Responsibilities to Anticipate: The Digital Design Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART. The candidate will be working in a collaborative team environment Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology will also be considered
* Minimum of 2 years of engineering digital circuit design experience
* Experience in the development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design, and processor designs is a plus
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance prior to the start date
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
* Ability to attain Special Program Access (SAP)
Qualifications Desired: * Experience taking a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level through development of a complete hardware design, verification, test, and integration
* Experience with PCB design processes and expertise in tools used to:
* Design (schematic capture)
* Analyze
* Simulate designs prior to hardware execution
* Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools, including:
* DxDesigner
* xDX Designer VX
* Expedition
* Experience using Mentor Graphics (Siemens EDA) PCB electronic circuit design software, including:
* HyperLynx signal integrity
* Power integrity
* Analog simulation
