Join HP's Personal Systems organization to explore new product opportunities in agentic AI. You will research customer and market needs, identify opportunities for differentiation, and recommend a focused minimum viable product (MVP) for review by the portfolio and insights team.
Responsibilities
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitors, and emerging agentic AI technologies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential AI product opportunities.
  • Define the target user, value proposition, competitive differentiation, and key use cases.
  • Develop a scoped MVP recommendation and supporting business rationale.
  • Analyze market, financial, and product data to inform recommendations.
  • Create data visualizations and executive-ready presentations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to portfolio and insights stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, finance, engineering, and analytics teams.
Education
  • Currently pursuing an MBA or relevant master's degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science
  • Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.
  • Has no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships, teaching assistance, research work, or military experience)
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027, and not require sponsorship in the future.
Required Skills
  • Strong market research and analytical abilities.
  • Understanding of product management principles and product development.
  • Ability to translate research into a clear product strategy and MVP scope.
  • Experience analyzing business, financial, or market data.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or agentic AI.
  • Experience with AI research tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Knowledge of competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Interest in technology product management and commercial computing.
