Job Summary:
YinzCam, Inc. is a tech leader in sports, developing mobile apps and analytics solutions for sports teams and venues. They are seeking an AR Developer to create augmented reality experiences for professional sports teams by analyzing user needs and developing software according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
• Consulting with clients and/or internal business representatives to determine client needs with regard to application performance, then developing software in accordance with required specifications and application needs
• Integrating AR experiences with existing application for both Android and iOS platforms
• Experimenting with the latest AR technologies to develop prototypes for demonstration to customers
• Using extensive knowledge of Unity3d game engine, C#, and Java programming language to develop experience for multiple platforms, screens, form factors, and densities
• Participating in full feature life cycle including concept, design, build, test, and deploy
• Identifying and correcting problems uncovered during testing and quality assurance processes to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Using System version control systems like Git to write and maintain software
• Utilizing outside APIs and build tools to speed up the development process.
• Creating UX flows of products that explain the user journey in the experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Entertainment Technology or Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using Unity or Unreal Engine
• 3+ years of experience with various aspects of game design and development (3D, UI, gameplay, sound, physics, rendering, etc.)
• 3+ years of professional experience with programming languages such as Java or C#
• 3+ years of experience with developing AR features for either Android or IOS mobile platforms
• 3+ years of experience with computer Vision/Image processing with OpenGL/OpenCV, PhotoShop, or other 3rd party libraries.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling custom assets
• Understanding texturing of 3D models and have ability to customize existing textures and 3D models based on customizations provided by the client.
