Rockstar New York is on the lookout for a passionate Full Stack Engineer who considers software development to be a craft and possesses a passion for tackling complex problems. In this role, you will be part of an enabling team, working across product domains within our Online Services Team.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
  • The Rockstar Games Online Services Team is a passionate development group, focused on growing and maintaining the technology platform that powers Rockstar's online titles and our ability to deliver world-class player experiences.
  • We create connected experiences that are found across our game franchises.
  • We create online services for our games, including matchmaking, cloud saves, player stats, leaderboards, and more.
  • The Core Tech: Online Tooling team is responsible for the architecture, foundational systems, and developing supported pathways to enable teams to create and maintain tooling to manage our online environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop features and applications utilizing C#, MSSQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript with React.
  • Utilize best practice to ensure full test coverage and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teams across our global organization to implement solutions that enhance developer experience.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree in computer science or 3+ years of equivalent experience in professional web development.
  • 3+ years of experience using React (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • 3+ years of experience using C#.
  • 2+ years of experience with T-SQL.
  • 2+ years of experience with source control, preferably Perforce.
  • Application of software development best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
  • Great communication skills as a core member of an internationally-based team.
PLUSES

  • Prior experience with Redis, MongoDB and automated testing.
  • Exposure to Elasticsearch is desirable.
  • Passion for web technologies and a desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. $101,100-$134,300 USD
