Job Description
Eurofins is hiring a Sample Receiving Technician II in Concord, NH
This schedule is Tues- Fri 10:00am-7:00pm and Saturday with a 8:00am or 9:00am start until 5:00pm or 6:00pm.
Compensation is $18-20/hour
The Sample Receiving Technician insures the timely and accurate entry of samples into the laboratory.
Responsibilities
  • Receive and maintain custody of samples.
  • Compare the COC requests with the actual bottles received to insure accurate receipt of samples.
  • Accurately log samples into the EAI LIMS as per customer request.
  • Accurately label samples.
  • Check preservation of samples upon receipt.
  • Prepare bottle orders.
  • Schedule and coordinate courier services when necessary.
  • Perform immediate analyses.
  • Maintain supplies of necessary quantity and quality for preparing bottle orders.
  • Follows all relevant QC/QC procedures found in the most current revision of the EAI QA/QC Manual.
  • Actively maintains a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with EAI's Health and Safety Program.
  • Participates in the management of hazardous waste by ensuring hazardous waste is properly segregated, labeled, and stored in accordance with EAI procedures.
  • Maintains sample security and confidentiality procedures as described in the EAI QA/QC Manual.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Attention to detail.
  • General understanding of lab operations.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Chemistry knowledge preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. sample can weigh this they arrive in coolers packed in ice
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

AA in Science or equivalent experience.
