Job description

Position Title: Simulation Scenario Developer & Instructor
Location: Fort Leonard Wood, MO
Clearance: Favorable T1 Investigation (Background Check)
Job Summary:
This position designs and supports computer-based simulation scenarios that replicate real-world battlefield operations. The Developer ensures scenario fidelity, integration with mission command systems, and provides instruction for Army-approved simulations like VBS3 and DXTRS.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage simulation scenarios per event OPORDs.
  • Develop simulation databases and conduct classroom instruction.
  • Integrate simulations with MCS platforms to enhance training realism.
  • Perform system backups, data recovery, and monthly maintenance checks.
  • Provide over-the-shoulder support during execution of training events.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with Army simulation platforms.
  • Knowledge of scenario development and OPORD-based training.
  • Experience with DXTRS, VBS3, and simulation scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with Army doctrine, event planning, and simulation networking.
