Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position requires the ability to modify or create a drawing for custom electrical enclosures and their associated sub-components with the use of 3D CAD software. Applicants must have a proven ability to take customer provided inputs and/or drawings and create a blueprint for production. Must be able to work with customers to define requirements, address technical concerns and provide status in a timely manner. Must be able to provide documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to explain to others about equipment, or structures which are to be fabricated, assembled, modified, and maintained. Must be a quick learner with the ability to manage several projects at one time and handle all changes related to projects assigned.

SKILLS REQUIRED: strong communication skills, critical and analytical thinking, attention to detail, mechanically inclined

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Applicants should have experience with 3D modeling and machine programming in order to apply. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a two-year degree in Industrial Technology, Engineering, and/or related fields. Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.   

EDUCATION REQUIRED:  2 4 year college degree, or comparable work experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: must be able to sit for long periods of time in front of a computer and operate tools and other equipment with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to follow directions, communicate clearly with others, and adapt to a high-stress, fast-paced changing environment. The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Punctuality and excellent attendance are essential job functions.
