Job description

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

The adjunct instructor will facilitate learning in engineering courses that are offered in the First Year Program, including Honors sections. The adjunct may serve as the instructor of record or co-teach courses with other instructors and faculty.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide instruction in a variety of formats, including in-person and hybrid/online learning, develop and deliver course material, assess student work and provide feedback to aid student learning, assist with project work, and mentor students.

  • MS or PhD in engineering or closely related field
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, including design. Working knowledge of technical software platforms used for solid modeling, data acquisition and processing, computation, and computer programming.
