Appointments may be made in one or more engineering departments based on the candidate's expertise and interests. While most positions are expected to be at the assistant professor level (tenure-track and teaching), consideration will also be given to more senior-level appointments, and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applications for invites applications to apply for tenure-track positions in 1) RF/Antenna systems and wireless sensors; 2) Security, especially in information security and AI/machine learning security; 3) AI for domain applications, especially next-generation networking, healthcare, and embodied AI; 4) Quantum communication and sensing.
The Department seeks to fill multiple openings in Fall 2026 for full-time, academic-year, tenure-track faculty appointments. Possible ranks include Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
