Qorvo's Characterization Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Operating, debugging and vetting MEMS reliability test systems (both hardware and software)
  • Run, analyze, and report on experiments to help improve device performance / reliability
  • Perform reliability analyses to predict device lifetime under various conditions
  • Document test system issues, solutions and operating procedures
  • Measure product using test equipment like DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, RF signal generators and PXI Chassis/Cards
  • Develop / upgrade measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET, Python or NI Labview along with custom tools

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science
  • 3.4 GPA or higher
  • Analog/RF circuit design course work
  • Lab experience using test and measurement equipment
  • Knowledge of programming / scripting languages such as Python, VB.NET, C#
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with National Instrument PXI chassis and cards.
  • Ability to make conclusions from data and present them clearly
  • Show ambition and ability to propose ideas to improve perceived issues
  • Knowledge of / coursework relating to MEMS is a plus

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
