Job description

The Engineering Intern is committed to actively work, learn duties to prevent defect exposures and reduce waste at the lowest cost possible for our environment.ย 
In this role, you will report directly to the Engineering Department Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (If applicable)ย 
  • Operational Excellence: Follow all set-up and operational procedures to ensure maximum accuracy and quality in manufacturing processes.
  • Equipment Operation:ย If applicable: Safely operate forklifts or other machinery to complete essential tasks, including loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products.
  • Production Support: Support production workers and staff in various tasks to maintain workflow and solve technical bottlenecks on the floor.
  • Quality Control: Apply quality control requirements and strictly follow written procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Fabrication: Use hand and power tools for grinding, fabrication, and refining parts as needed for production.
  • Safety Leadership: Operate all equipment in a safe manner, maintain a clean working environment, and comply with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
