Job description

Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model โ€” which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet.

The Role:

Join Celonis as an Engineering Intern and become part of a world-class engineering team building the future of process intelligence. Over the course of your internship, youโ€™ll work handsโ€‘on within one or more engineering teams, contributing to real product features on a modern cloud-based tech stack. Youโ€™ll be supported by an experienced mentor and work alongside engineers who are passionate about innovation, collaboration, and impact. This is a chance to apply your technical skills to meaningful challenges, grow fast, and get a real taste of what a career in enterprise software engineering looks like.

The work youโ€™ll do:
  • Collaborate with your engineering team on the design, development, and testing of features in Celonisโ€™s cloud product.
  • Write clean, wellโ€‘structured code using our modern tech stack, which includes Angular, Spring Boot, C++17, and Kubernetes.
  • Contribute to real product work โ€” not toy projects โ€” with ownership of specific features or components.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and your mentor to grow your technical skills and broaden your understanding of largeโ€‘scale software systems.
  • Participate in code reviews, standups, and team rituals to get a full picture of how highโ€‘performing engineering teams operate.
  • Explore and contribute to openโ€‘source code and projects where applicable.
  • Bring curiosity and fresh perspective to the table โ€” your ideas are welcome here.
The qualifications you need:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least one completed internship or relevant project experience demonstrating handsโ€‘on coding skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript, C++).
  • Familiarity with software development fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and objectโ€‘oriented design.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a fastโ€‘paced, highโ€‘growth environment.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • A collaborative, teamโ€‘first mindset with the initiative to take ownership and follow through.
  • You are available for a 3 month partโ€‘time internship starting October 2026 latest.
Bonus Points:
  • GPA of 3.6 or higher.
  • Experience with cloud-native or distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Angular, Spring Boot, or Kubernetes.
  • Contributions to openโ€‘source projects.
  • Interest in process mining, data analytics, or enterprise software.
