Job Summary
Will be responsible for teaching transferable classes in the computer science curriculum in a variety of formats. Classes may include CSC 134 C++ Programming, CSC 151 JAVA Programming, and CSC 251 Advanced Java Programming.
Rate of Pay - Based on College scale and education/experience.
Minimum Qualifications
A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
or
A master's degree and at least 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collegially with faculty and staff.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance student success.
  • Prior teaching experience at the community college level is strongly preferred.
