Job description

Job Title: Badge Technician and Parking Engineer (This Position is Part Time)

Location(s): Atlanta, GA

Salary: $17.75 per hour

Hours: Regular Part-Time (Monday-Friday) 9 am – 1 pm

Clearance: Public Trust

What you will be doing:

  • Perform identification badging for the tenants and contractors accessing Federal Buildings.
  • Provide a roster by tenant and/or contractor of all badge holders.
  • Provide reports to reflect current and expired background checks.
  • Ensure the Badging Room remains secure with the locking of the computers.
  • Meet with the COR (during normal enrollment hours) once a month to go over reports, emergency codes, access levels, and any updates to the system.
  • Grant and revoke garage access to authorized personnel.
  • Update and manage access permissions on employee badges.
  • Collect parking fees from employees.
  • Process payments accurately and provide receipts.
  • Provide directions and information about facility policies.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
  • Monitor the condition of the parking facility and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, including filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Add or remove signs upon request.

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Shall be certified by the Physical Access System (PAC). Familiar with the identification of badging software and all applications that are currently installed.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
