Position Details:
Transcard offers an internship program in the FinTech industry. Our program is designed to provide you with meaningful projects utilized by the business. You'll see the direct impact of your contribution and get an inside perspective of your desired field while working alongside some of the best in our industry.

This intern position will operate Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position is a paid internship, compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer internship will start with a one-on-one meeting with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or your designated personnel to discuss the professional goal of your academic coursework to ensure you meet all academic requirements during the internship. Additionally, the internship will be supervised by our Software Development team to provide routine feedback and status updates. There will be an exit interview with the Software Development Lead and Human Resources for continual improvement of the program. The Software Development internship will provide exposure to a variety of opportunities within our Software Development department: mobile app and website design, participation in scrum and design meetings for IT projects, interaction with sales and marketing to review design and workflows of processes as well as other projects.
Requirements
• Basic understanding and exposure to the following: Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, Microservices, API's, data pipelining.
• Basic understanding and technical knowledge of Software Engineering.
• Applicants may be requested to provide a sample of written code in a similar programming language.
• Ability to work remotely and independently from direct supervisor as needed.
• Must have great time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Education and/or Certifications:
• Completed or currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology degree.
• Preferred Computer Science, Software Development.
