Job description

Job Purpose

Dana Incorporated is seeking a motivated IT Co Op for Fall of 2026 to support a variety of enterprise Information Technology initiatives, including AI enablement, Microsoft Copilot adoption, and day to day IT operations. This role is designed for a student interested in gaining both foundational IT experience and exposure to emerging AI technologies. The IT Co Op will collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to support operational activities, enhance productivity through AI tools, and contribute to project work that improves systems, processes, and user experience across the organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

AI Enablement & Copilot Adoption
   Support the rollout and adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI tools across the organization
   Facilitate AI office hours and provide user support on prompting and use cases
   Assist in developing user guides, best practices, and training materials
   Gather feedback and usage insights to improve AI adoption strategies
   Participate in AI agent design, testing, and deployment aligned with business processes 
   IT Operations & Project Support
   Assist with day to day IT operational activities across the organization
   Support IT communications (documentation, presentations, internal updates)
   Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) tracking, coordination, and reporting
   Participate in Microsoft Teams and file organization/cleanup efforts
   Complete a defined IT project (research, analysis, or process improvement) 
   Documentation & Collaboration
   Document processes, workflows, and best practices
   Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and end users
   Support communications related to system updates, training, and new initiatives
   Assist with tracking tasks, deliverables, and project milestones 

Education and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in: Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, tools, and concepts
  • Interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team environment
