   Current MN Elementary K-6 Teaching License
Education & Experience: 

















  • Bachelor's Degree  At least 3-5 years teaching experience
  • Knowledge of social education procedures

Job purpose/Position Summary:

  • Computer Science Immersion site coach/co-teacher for classroom teachers  
  • Computer Science program site leader
  • Team member on elem CS curriculum review and development
  • Build/create/enhance CS identity at site with staff, students and community. 

                                  
Duties & Responsibilities:  

The position will work with colleagues to strengthen computing identities with students, staff and community by,

  • providing coaching, co-teaching and training that helps teachers build their computer science skills, instruction of computer science skills, and integration of computer science concepts into their instruction and core content areas.  
  • informing design, implementation, and improvement of immersion program for computer science at their designated sites including logistics, communications, and professional development
  • informing design thinking and makerspace programming district wide
  • continually learning and researching current best practices of effective computer science instruction and educational programming across k-12
  • On a regular basis collaborate with building administration on program needs, progress and professional development.
  • Develop communication to families & community about CS Immersion at the site.
