We are looking for a Database Administrator based at NJ

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator 

  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle and MS SQL Server

  • Experience monitoring database performance and optimizing queries, indexing, and storage

  • Experience supporting databases across Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments

  • Experience with high availability, replication, and backup/recovery strategies

  • Strong SQL skills, including query writing and stored procedures

  • Knowledge of database best practices and performance tuning

  • Familiarity with computer security standards and data integrity processes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • DBA certification

  • Experience with scripting

  • Experience working with ETL tools, including Informatica

  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
