Job description

Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Data Team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex cloud systems based on documented requirements. You should have strong development experience, with a proficiency in Python, and hands-on experience with container and orchestration tools. DBE will work with a specific mission using Oracle databases.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contract of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Two (2) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies.
  • Experience with Python required
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (i.e. Docker) and orchestration tools (i.e. Kubernetes, Helm)
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree for a total of ten (10) years of experience.
  • One or more of the following shall be obtained within 6 months of hire:
    • AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
    • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator
