Job description

Purpose:

The Manager of Computer User and Network Support ensures the performance, integrity and security of all management information systems and their databases so, all work is done in the most efficient manner, data remains consistent across the databases, data is clearly defined, users access data concurrently, in a form that suits their needs and there is provision for data security and recovery control.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Monitors usage to ensure security of data and access privileges, including timely additions/deletions/changes in usersโ€™ access and preferences
  • Effectively utilizes Asana to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and collaboration with team members
  • Review event logs to manage SQL/GP/Appolis and Beta Raven system/application integrity
  • Review and manage SQL and its databases
  • Administer and troubleshoots telecommunications systems
  • Coordinate communication, scheduling and monthly reporting with 3rd party IT providers
  • Coordinates the ordering and installation of IT hardware and software including data systems equipment and cabling
  • Leads all user troubleshooting- devices, network and printing until the issue is resolved
  • Coordinate with tech vendors for user support and hardware integration
  • Takes ownership of financial actions and decisions ensuring awareness of how affect the companyโ€™s finances
  • This could involve understanding the costs associated with tasks, the time of work, or the impact of waste and inefficiencies
  • Works closely with the System Administrator to ensure Web stability and system security
  • Monitors the health of servers and overall systems environment
  • Monitors and corrects any system & sites down time
  • Evaluates, recommends, and introduces new technologies in support of all company strategies
  • Provides a monthly report to the President & CEO outlining system security and system effectiveness & efficiency
  • Keeps Active Directory up to date and accurate at all times
  • Install, configure and administer applications/software as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4 years related experience
  • Bachelors degree
