Job description

Position Description/Summary:
The Building People is seeking a CMMS Administrator to support facility operations and maintenance services at a federal government installation. The CMMS Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the work order database, ensuring work orders are created, tracked, and closed accurately and in a timely manner, and providing required reports to the Project Manager and government representatives. The CMMS Admin will:
  • Receives, records in CMMS system, and distributes work orders and preventive maintenance tickets to service crews upon customers' requests for service records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered
  • Prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crew.
  • Calls or writes the customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service, keeps record of service calls and work orders, may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments using radio or cellular telephone equipment.
  • Courteously answers all incoming service calls and dispatches accordingly. Coordinates with proper staff to make sure ticket is closed appropriately
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Computer experience, Microsoft Products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Email.
  • Customer friendly and able to speak clearly and answer the phone/radio, communication devices.
  • Experience in federal or commercial facility management preferred.
  • TRIRIGA experience preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust
