PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist in supporting the District's Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) and Texas Student Data System (TSDS) reporting processes. Maintain accurate student and staff data, assist with data validation and report preparation, and support state reporting requirements. Provide assistance to campuses and departments to ensure timely and accurate PEIMS submissions and compliance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Strong computer, data entry, and Microsoft Office (Excel) skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
Ability to manage frequent interruptions
Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple departments and campus staff
Experience:
1-3 years of knowledge and experience with PEIMS reporting, Texas public school data reporting requirements, and student information systems (Skyward preferred)
1-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and minimal supervision
