Inside Sales Representative Job Summary: 

Immediate opening for a dynamic self-starter to join a great team. The Inside Sales Representative position is an entry-level position with the potential for advancement and the chance to build a long-term career with a great organization. The Inside Sales Representative will drive sales by identifying and contacting potential clients through cold calling. The ideal Sales Representative has great communication skills and the ability to understand our customers’ needs, as well as being able to effectively communicate the value of our products and services. The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time, direct-hire position in Omaha, NE. 


Inside Sales Representative Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Introduce Product & Services to Targeted Leads Through Cold Calling
  • Compile Lists of Perspective Clients and Provide Qualified Leads to Sales Team
  • Assist With Customer Support When Needed
  • Assist & Manager Marketing Materials as Required by the Sales Team, Insuring There are Adequate Supplies of Literature for Customers (Digital & Hard Copy)
  • Assist in Maintaining Product Codes & Track Inactive & Slow-Moving Stock
  • Determine Customers’ Needs, Potential Volume & Price Schedules by Reviewing Market Analysis & Implement a Sales Campaign to accommodate the Customers’ Goals
  • Maintain Customer Relationships & Inform Them of New Products and Services
  • Provide Technical Advice to Associates as Requested
  • Collaborate with R&D to Understand Next-Gen Product in Development
  • Provide Supporting Information for Bids, Including Pricing & Credit Terms
  • Provide Product & Pricing as Needed to Sales Team & Generate Bids
  • Preparation of Business Transaction Reports
  • Assist With Other Duties As Assigned  


Inside Sales Representative Job Requirements: 

  • BA or BS is Preferred, But Can be Substituted For Similar Experiences
  • 1+ Years of Related Experience or Training, Preferably in The Chemical Industry
  • Must be Able to Do Mathematical Calculations Including Discounts, Interest, Commissions, Proportions & Percentages
  • Must be Able to Read & Interpret Technical Documents, Business Procedures or Government Regulations
  • Must Have Excellent Communication, both Written & Verbal, & be Able to Communicate Effectively with Managers, Clients, Customers’ & the General Public
  • Must Have the Ability to Follow Instructions in Written, Oral or Diagram Form
  • Should be Positive, Passionate, Honest & Responsible
  • Must be Computer Literate & Have a Working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs
  • Should be Able to Stand or Sit for Extended Periods of Time & Lift up to 50 Lbs
