Job description

As an Associate Product Manager in ASUS's OPBG department, you will support the Product Manager across a wide range of tasks tied to managing and maintaining the product life cycle. This role requires close interaction with Marketing, Warehouse, Sales, External Partners, and HQ. To be successful in this role you are self-motivated, energetic, organized, detail oriented and have passion for computers or technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Order Management: Place weekly product orders through the internal e-commerce system and Oracle ERP.
  • Shipment Tracking: Closely monitor shipments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze and compare products, pricing, and channels across the market.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Prepare go-to-market plans for new products and ensure messaging resonates with customers.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Conduct weekly analysis and forecasting, and prepare weekly reports and presentations.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training programs.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product features, functionality, and user experience.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in an office setting, preferably at a technology company
  • Experience creating reports using Excel and AI tools

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Strong ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Sound judgment, with the ability to make timely, well-reasoned decisions
  • Able to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams and committees
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
  • Ability to understand and respond effectively to a diverse population
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Able to work confidently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented environment that requires a high degree of flexibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus

$70,304 – $85,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
