Job description

Brief Summary of Position Purpose:

  • To set up, repair, calibrate, test and adjust any type of assembly, test or mechanical equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly
  • Report any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response
  • Maintain and service equipment when necessary
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Technical training preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum six (6) months manufacturing experience preferred
  • 2+ years' in general assembly work or related prior experience preferred

Required Skill Sets: (e.g., computer skills, communications, math, etc.)

  • Experience with power and hand tools a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with computer data entry and email
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong communication skills

Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, travel, etc.)

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Fast paced production environment
  • Position requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort
