About the Opportunity:
As an Animatronic and Electro-mechanical Assembly Technician at LF Studios, you will play a crucial role in bringing imaginative designs to reality. You will be responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical and structural components for animatronics and metal structures, as well as the meticulous routing and securing of wiring harnesses. Your keen eye for detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality will be essential as you collaborate within a larger team to meet project goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and promote safe work practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming components to ensure quality standards as the last set of eyes before assembly.
  • Precisely fabricate components using a variety of mechanical fastening methodologies.
  • Accurately document work completed and strictly adhere to related quality policies.
  • Assemble animatronic armatures according to detailed technical drawings with the aid of 3D models while documenting as required.
  • Contribute valuable insights to project designs, leveraging best practices, existing equipment, and prototype feedback.
  • Accurately route and secure wiring harnesses, demonstrating knowledge of various retention techniques.
