Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Operator II candidates to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling server racks and computer hardware components while following detailed work instructions and quality standards.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment, lifting materials throughout the shift, and working both independently and within a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and unpack chassis and components for server assembly
  • Install and replace brackets, labels, rails, handles, switches, and other components
  • Integrate computer parts into chassis on a progressive assembly line
  • Install small screws and hardware components with precision
  • Identify and label cables according to rack specifications
  • Install rails and assemble racks based on specifications
  • Package finished racks for shipment
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Assist with recycling and material handling as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of assembly or related manufacturing experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working on ladders when needed
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
