What's a typical day as a Computer Assembler? You'll be:

Performing various system and component assembly activities according to Standard Operating Procedures and instructions

Assembling parts or units, and positioning, aligning, and fastening units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using hand tools and power tools

Connecting cables, tubes, and wiring according to specifications

Reading blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electromechanical units

Inspecting, testing, and adjusting completed units to ensure they meet specifications and customer order requirements

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
