Job Summary (List Format): Principal Salesforce Technical Architect
- Serve as the strategic technology lead for the global Salesforce platform and emerging AI capabilities.
- Define, implement, and govern enterprise Salesforce architecture, standards, reusable design patterns, and best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders and IT leaders to translate commercial strategies into scalable Salesforce technology solutions.
- Lead architecture governance, lifecycle management, and technical roadmap planning for Salesforce capabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend adoption of new Salesforce technologies (e.g., Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, AI automation).
- Lead and facilitate business discovery and technical design workshops to understand business needs and architect solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, integration designs, and solution specifications.
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Platform Events, and APIs.
- Architect and deliver Experience Cloud solutions for customer, partner, and employee portals, including secure authentication and data sharing.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, content management platforms, identity providers, and external APIs.
- Build AI-powered business solutions leveraging Salesforce AI capabilities, Agentforce, and Data Cloud.
- Lead enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, middleware, and APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring platform reliability and performance.
- Review code, enforce enterprise development standards, and maintain high code quality.
- Direct technical delivery for strategic Salesforce programs, including full solution lifecycle (design to production).
- Identify technical risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.
- Support agile delivery teams, removing technical roadblocks and ensuring solution quality.
- Mentor and guide Salesforce administrators, developers, and technical leads; foster engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, present to executives, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years IT experience, with 10+ years hands-on Salesforce development and architecture.
- Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations end-to-end.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce integrations, security architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git/Bitbucket, and deployment tools (e.g., Copado).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience and ability to work with globally distributed teams.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Preferred/Nice to Have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application/System Architect, Experience Cloud Consultant).
- Experience with large-scale Experience Cloud solutions and healthcare/regulated industry requirements.
