In this role, you will...

Drive the development, maintenance, and ongoing refinement of the company's enterprise architecture strategy, standards, principles, and technology roadmaps across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, integration, and security. Partner with business, technology, security, risk, and operations leaders to align architecture recommendations with business objectives, transformation initiatives, regulatory expectations, and long-term business needs.

Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing architecture guidance, evaluating technology trends and platform capabilities, and shaping secure, scalable, cost-effective, and future-ready solutions. Work through influence, matrixed collaboration, and architecture governance to promote alignment, consistency, and informed decision-making across teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, patterns, and roadmaps across applications, data, infrastructure, integration, cloud, and security.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align architecture recommendations with business objectives, transformation initiatives, regulatory expectations, and current and future business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors, including Salesforce, CCaaS platforms, cloud services, integration tools, and other enterprise systems, to support business needs and enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Analyze enterprise business drivers, technology trends, and market changes to assess potential impact and recommend appropriate architecture direction.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise architecture, advising leaders and stakeholders on technology capabilities, solution design, modernization, interoperability, and platform strategy.
  • Support and facilitate architecture governance, review, and decision-making forums to promote scalable, secure, resilient, and consistent technology solutions.
  • Guide architecture-related initiatives through influence, partnership, and matrixed collaboration across business, technology, security, data, infrastructure, operations, vendor, and third-party teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and promote architecture processes, standards, communication plans, and adoption strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for simplification, modernization, rationalization, reuse, interoperability, and cost optimization across enterprise platforms.
  • Support system interoperability and integration strategies across enterprise platforms, including cloud, hybrid, and third-party environments.
  • Partner with business leaders to support digital transformation initiatives across customer, servicing, and lending journeys.
  • Support secure-by-design architecture practices, including security standards, identity frameworks, API security, data protection, Zero Trust, and secure cloud and hybrid integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with security, risk, compliance, infrastructure, application, and data teams to incorporate threat modeling, risk mitigation, and regulatory requirements into architecture recommendations.
  • Monitor and report on architecture-related metrics, governance outcomes, technology risks, roadmap progress, and modernization opportunities as requested.
  • Share knowledge, provide architecture guidance, and mentor colleagues across project teams, working groups, and governance forums.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support evolving business and technology needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; applicable years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of eight (8) or more years of progressive IT experience, including experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, solution architecture, systems design, or related technology leadership functions.
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, with responsibility for influencing decisions, coordinating cross-functional activities, and guiding enterprise-level architecture recommendations across business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale systems and technology strategies across multiple domains, including applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and modern architecture patterns.
  • Strong understanding of secure, scalable enterprise architecture patterns, including identity and access management, encryption, network security, data protection, and secure application design.
  • Knowledge of customer engagement ecosystems, including CRM and CCaaS integrations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align technology decisions, architecture standards, and modernization initiatives with business objectives and enterprise priorities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, coach stakeholders, and partner effectively across all levels of the organization on matters of strategic importance.
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across matrixed teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership, business partners, vendors, third parties, and company staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Financial services experience, including lending and loan origination ecosystems.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud).
  • Experience integrating Salesforce, loan origination systems (LOS), and CCaaS platforms.
  • Experience modernizing contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Amazon Connect, Five9).
  • Strong experience with Zero Trust architectures, identity frameworks, and API security.
  • Experience embedding security into digital transformation and customer experience initiatives.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
  • Experience with data strategy, AI/ML initiatives, and digital transformation.
