Business Application Specialist (all genders)

Hybrid

Your position

As Business Application Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting and advancing digitalization initiatives within the plant. Working across areas such as SCM, Production, Quality, and Finance, you will help improve reporting structures, optimize business applications, and contribute to data‑driven processes and decision‑making. You will work with SQL databases, SAP and operational data, and reporting solutions such as Power BI to support efficient business operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supporting and further developing plant‑specific business applications and reporting solutions
  • Working with SQL databases, including processing and preparing data from SAP and operational systems
  • Creating and adapting reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • Supporting reporting requirements across SCM, Production, Quality, and Finance
  • Maintaining and improving existing reporting and database structures
  • Supporting DigiT and S4/HANA related projects and implementing system improvements
Your profile
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) relevant to information technology, computer science/engineering
  • Several years of experience with databases, reporting systems, or business applications, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, MS Access, and the creation of reports and dashboards
  • Technical understanding and an analytical, hands‑on mindset
