COMSOL, Inc. is seeking a full-time graphic designer to join our Marketing department onsite in Burlington, MA.
Job Description
If you are interested in science and engineering, enjoy producing marketing materials, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this is the job for you. You will be part of a group tasked with engaging engineers and scientists who are working on the latest innovative products, designs, and research.
As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of digital and print design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. You will work both independently and collaboratively to create informed solutions based on project needs. In this role, you will communicate with and work alongside various stakeholders including marketers, content writers, video editors, web developers, and more.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with the Creative team to ensure brand consistency across various forms of media and evolve our brand visual identity
  • Produce promotional materials including banners, flyers, LinkedIn ads, long-form publications, promotional and event slides, signage, and more
  • Review Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to ensure consistent branding
  • Support teams in charge of the website, social media, content production, video production, and marketing with visual assets to meet their needs

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and Figma
  • Strong typography and layout skills
  • Self-starter who works both independently and collaboratively
  • Effective at communicating conceptual ideas and design decisions
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of the difference between designing for print and web
  • Curious, enthusiastic, and eager to work in the simulation software industry
  • Current eligibility to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position. F-1 visa holders not accepted.

Helpful Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
  • Interest in marketing and data analytics
  • 1-3 years of experience in both print and web
