Job description

Industrial CAD Drafter/Operations Support

The Role

Want to learn a business inside and out? This role puts you right at the intersection of CAD drafting and hands-on operations. Your time will consist of quoting, customer and vendor phone calling, and shop coordination to keep projects moving.

If you're early in your career and want real variety with real ownership, this is it.

What You'll Do

  • Produce and revise 2D CAD drawings for fabricated parts and assemblies
  • Turn field measurements and customer sketches into fabrication-ready drawings
  • Support quoting, order entry, and customer communication
  • Answer phones and help customers with everyday needs
  • Coordinate with the shop and warehouse to keep projects on track
  • Pitch in on warehouse or operational tasks when needed
  • Keep drawing files and documentation organized

What You Bring

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, or similar
  • Technical certificate, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
  • A no-task-too-small mindset. You're willing to jump in wherever you're needed, computer or not
  • Sharp attention to detail and reliability people can count on
  • A clear, team-first way of communicating
  • Genuine interest in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial operations

What You'll Get

  • Broad exposure to engineering, operations, and customer-facing work
  • Real, hands-on learning in a real manufacturing and sales environment
  • A small team where you'll have direct access to leadership
  • Competitive pay based on experience
