Job description

Endocrinologist (MD/DO)

Compensation: $310,000 – $340,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | In-Person (Outpatient Only)

Location: Los Angeles, CA area

We are seeking a full-time, in-person Endocrinologist to join a mission-driven, multidisciplinary outpatient healthcare organization serving diverse and medically underserved communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

The organization operates multiple state-of-the-art outpatient clinics, delivering high-impact specialty care to patients managing complex metabolic, thyroid, and endocrine disorders. In this role, you will work alongside a deeply integrated care team—including primary care physicians, fellow specialists, advanced practice providers, behavioral health clinicians, and dedicated case managers. This is an exceptional opportunity for a specialist looking to practice meaningful, community-focused medicine while enjoying a highly desirable, predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no hospital call burdens.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services to adult patients presenting with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders
  • Design, implement, and monitor complex, high-impact clinical management plans for advanced diabetes care, utilizing continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy where appropriate
  • Act as the subject matter expert and consultant for the primary care team, working collaboratively across disciplines to ensure a seamless continuum of care
  • Maintain highly detailed, accurate, and timely patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Participate actively in internal quality improvement initiatives, diabetes education programs, and population health strategies to optimize chronic disease outcomes across the community
  • Educate patients and their support systems on long-term treatment protocols, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
  • In process or completing fellowship in Endocrinology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain) and valid DEA registration
  • A genuine commitment to providing equitable, high-quality healthcare to culturally diverse and underserved patient populations
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and an entrepreneurial, team-oriented mindset
Benefits:
  • Fully comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision insurance)
  • Robust retirement plan with an organization match
  • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage
  • Dedicated, paid Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and a financial stipend
  • Eligible employer for multiple federal and state loan repayment programs
  • Generous sign-on incentive available
  • Long-term leadership and clinical growth opportunities within a highly stable, expanding, and mission-focused organization

Salary: The posted range represents the base salary block. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including clinical experience, fellowship training metrics, and specific site deployment. Contact us for more information.

If you're excited about the potential of this role, we'd love to hear from you!
