Job Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Innovation Team. This role involves designing mechanical systems and components for automated machinery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the full lifecycle of equipment development-from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development
    • Design custom mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for automated equipment.
    • Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Draftsight).
    • Perform engineering calculations for strength, motion, and thermal analysis.
  • Project Execution
    • Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
    • Participate and lead design reviews, risk assessments, and DFMEA processes.
    • Support prototyping, fabrication, and testing of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Documentation & Standards
    • Create and maintain drawings, models, BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
    • Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., ANSI, OSHA, ISO).
    • Maintain version control and design records.
  • Customer & Field Support
    • Interface with customers to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
