Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Innovation Team. This role involves designing mechanical systems and components for automated machinery, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and supporting the full lifecycle of equipment development—from concept through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development
    • Design custom mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for automated equipment.
    • Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Draftsight).
    • Perform engineering calculations for strength, motion, and thermal analysis.
  • Project Execution
    • Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration.
    • Participate and lead design reviews, risk assessments, and DFMEA processes.
    • Support prototyping, fabrication, and testing of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Documentation & Standards
    • Create and maintain drawings, models, BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
    • Ensure designs comply with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., ANSI, OSHA, ISO).
    • Maintain version control and design records.
  • Customer & Field Support
    • Interface with customers to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

Qualifications
