We are a well-established engineering and surveying firm with over four decades of experience serving clients across South Florida. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering CADD Technician to join our team in our Belle Glade, FL.


Position Overview: The Engineering CADD Technician will assist project engineers by preparing construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects including water, sewer, drainage, roadway, and site development. The role requires a strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, a solid understanding of engineering design principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

• Produce construction drawings, plan sets, and technical details for civil engineering projects

• Prepare utility, grading, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Interpret and apply engineering markups and redlines

• Assist in compiling drawing sets and supporting documentation for permitting and construction

• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements

• Maintain organized digital file structures and follow company CAD standards

• Ensure accuracy and quality of work while meeting schedules and deadlines


Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest version required)

• Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure such as water, sewer, storm water, and roadway systems

• Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
