Job Summary:
The CAD/Revit Technician will mainly use REVIT and occasionally AutoCAD to set up and update project models and back grounds, draft redline mark ups of MEP systems, document existing conditions using REVIT, and aide in trouble shooting REVIT issues.
In this role, you will:
  • Set up models and update as architectural models are shared.
  • Drafting existing site and system conditions from Engineer's field survey notes.
  • Work in conjunction with supervising Engineer to draft MEP system layouts,

schedules, and details for a variety of projects.
  • Work with internal/external Technicians/Designers/Engineers to coordinate

building systems.
  • Model, Background, and layer management.

You will be a great fit if:
  • Experience in an A/E/C environment designing Mechanical, Electrical, and

Plumbing systems (MEP), a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques.
  • MEP engineering terminology, a plus but not required.
  • Efficient and accurate drafting with adherence to BIM standards
  • High level of proficiency in REVIT design software with some CAD knowledge
  • High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Electronic Project File Management experience
  • Excellent time management and an extremely high level of attention to detail

Skills/abilities:
  • Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project.
