Job description

SUMMARY:

Accurately translate and reproduce drawings from actual parts, earlier drawings, or other sources. Make drawing changes or new drawings as a result of approved Engineering Change Requests or Engineering Orders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Create new drawings.
  2. Change existing drawings.
  3. Update drawing status reports.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supply Production Control with released drawings.
  2. Assist in Document Control activities as needed.
  3. Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Good working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD
  2. Adequate computer skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
