Job Description:
Solution Design:
• Define high-level and detailed architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Align Windchill solutions with business goals and industry best practices.
• Experience in CAD worker setup for Windchill environments, including Creo, Office Worker, etc.
• Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups.
• Configuration of SSO and SSL configuration.
• Upgrade planning and execution, including rehearsals on lower environments.
• Documenting all steps and preparing a detailed runbook for the production upgrade.
• Final execution of the upgrade on the production environment.
• Running WinDU, analyzing results, and resolving issues reported during upgrade rehearsals.
Customization & Integration:
• Lead development of workflows, object models, and system configurations.
• Integrate Windchill with ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms.
Project Execution:
• Oversee end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Manage risk, stakeholder communication, and project governance.
Mentorship & Documentation:
• Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and testing standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and customizations.
Technical Stack:
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink).
• Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration, Client integration, and performance tuning.
